Vee Dental - Treatment Aftermath

About Treatment Aftermath

The Dental Treatment Aftermath is primarily used to resolve unsatisfactory or distressing situations that occur after you have received dental treatment elsewhere.

Something is wrong with the restoration:Dental implants, crowns or fillings that are loose, falling out or look bad.
The treatment is unsatisfactory:Tooth pain after root canal treatment, uncontrolled periodontal disease, or irregular teeth after orthodontic treatment.

Treatment Aftermath Overview

Restoration-related issues

This type of service deals with the restorations themselves such as implants, crowns, veneers or fillings.

  • Implant Correction:Re-evaluate loose or poorly positioned implants, perform implant removal, bone replacement and plan for secondary implant placement to restore function and aesthetics.
  • Crown/veneer remake:Remove crowns and veneers that have a poor fit or an unnatural appearance, and re-fabricate and place all-porcelain crowns or ceramic veneers to achieve a good fit and aesthetic appearance.
  • Fillings and restorations:Remove old or poor quality fillings and refill with material to prevent secondary decay and sensitivity problems.

Problems associated with foundation therapy

This type of service focuses on dental and gum health issues, often where previous treatments have not thoroughly addressed the underlying cause.

  • Root canal retreatment:For teeth that continue to be painful or inflamed after root canal treatment, a new root canal is performed to remove the source of infection.
  • Periodontal disease control:Developing new treatment options for uncontrolled periodontal disease, stopping the progression of the disease and protecting teeth and bone.
  • Corrective retreatment:Evaluate the cause of orthodontic failure and formulate a new orthodontic treatment plan using invisible braces or fixed braces to reposition the teeth to achieve an ideal bite and aesthetics.

Detailed Treatment Procedure

What is the aftercare process for dental accidents?

01

Initial Diagnosis and Assessment

The focus at this stage is not on treatment, but on in-depth investigation. We will look at the root causes of previous treatment failures from a variety of perspectives.

  1. Listen to your experience:We will listen carefully to your symptoms, complaints, and previous treatment.
  2. High-order image analysis:Using equipment such as 3D computed tomography, your teeth, bones and nerves are accurately assessed to find problems that are not visible to the naked eye.
  3. Multi-specialty diagnosis:If the problem is complex, our team will work together to find a solution from different perspectives.

02

Customised Modification Plan

After the diagnosis is complete, we will communicate transparently with you and work together to develop a plan that is best for you.

  1. Problem Root Cause Analysis:We will explain in a clear and understandable way why previous treatments have failed.
  2. Programme discussion:We will provide a variety of correction options, including:
    • Fine-tuning or repair: If the original treatment can be retained, we will prioritise fine-tuning or remediation to avoid unnecessary removal.
    • Complete Removal and Reconstruction: If the original treatment is not repairable, we will safely remove the failed implant or crown and create a new treatment plan.
  3. Risks and Benefits Statement:We will clearly set out the benefits, limitations and expected results of each option so that you can make a well-informed decision.

03

Perform corrective therapy

This stage is the actual problem solving process. We will perform corrective therapy.

  1. Reconstruction and restoration:Implant removal, bone grafting, or root canal retreatment is performed to address the root cause of the problem.
  2. Dental restorations:Crowns, veneers or fillings are recreated and placed to provide a better fit and aesthetics.
  3. Orthodontic treatment:If the orthodontic treatment fails, a new orthodontic plan will be developed to help get the teeth back into the correct position.

04

Long-term tracking and maintenance

After treatment, we will help you prevent the problem from happening again.

  1. Post-operative care guidance:Provide detailed care advice to ensure your oral health is restored smoothly.
  2. Regular return visits:Regular follow-ups are arranged to ensure the long-term stability of the modified treatment effect.
